Priya Gurnani, a self-taught artist, creates art that reflects her dreamscape, a haven that hosts vibrant dancing of the Aurora Borealis on mountainous stages. Priya uses various media such as ink, gouache, pencil crayons, and watercolours to capture melancholy movements and accentuates them with minimal linework, embroidery, and found botanical materials. Inspired by her East-Indian heritage, Priya's latest works beautifully blend elements of traditional Indian art and textile patterns, adding a touch of cultural richness to her artistry.
