Jaws is a Latinx non-binary artist based in Tkaronto. A devoted performer, teacher, new fatha, they explore movement as a transcendent language—always evolving, always connected. Flowing from a foundation of hip-hop, soul, and groove, Jaws made their way into the ballroom scene in 2019. Their entrance into the kiki scene started at the AGO's 'The Red Ball'. Since then, Jaws has walked kiki and mainstream balls, creating moments with their performances and effects as 'Harley Quinn', 'Calypso', 'Pennywise', ‘Spiderman’ and more. Toronto’s 2022 and 2023 Kiki Women's Performance of the Year and Mainstreams Midwest Region for Women's Performance OTY 2024. Now Jaws is currently leading the Toronto Chapter as Father for the Supreme Kiki House of Siriano.

Pique is a forward-thinking, artist-driven quarterly event series featuring eclectic musical, visual and multimedia artists, produced by Debaser. Pique takes place four times per year at the Arts Court (67 Nicholas St, Ottawa). 

2025 Pique dates are March 7-8, June 7, September 27 and December 13.
