Sook-Yin Lee, a filmmaker, musician, engineer, producer, and film composer, has played in myriad bands, including Bob's Your Uncle and experimental legends CCMC. Her album "jooj two," reached #1 on the Earshot national campus music chart, while her latest, 72RHR, is among Canada's Top 5. Lee's songs have been covered by Neko Case and featured in Brandon Cronenberg horror movies INFINITY POOL and ANTIVIRAL. The iconic MuchMusic VJ/CBC broadcaster starred in SHORTBUS and won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Leading Actor for her role as "Olivia Chow" in JACK. She wrote and directed feature films YEAR OF THE CARNIVORE starring Cristin Milioti, OCTAVIO IS DEAD! and UNSAFE, a theatre work on censorship and artistic freedom. Her latest, the CSA-winning PAYING FOR IT was selected as one of Canada's Top Ten Films. Lee's anti-band features guitarist Dylan Gamble (of Hot Garbage), and performance artists Sarah Kilpack and Ronnie Clarke.
