Danah Rosales (she/her/siya), known as Maldita Siriano 007 in the ballroom scene, is a Tkaronto-based queer millennial; 2nd-gen Canadian-Filipinx; a daughta; a cister; a solo parent of two humans; Legendary Women’s Performance Motha of the Kiki House of Siriano; and a three-time Dora Award–nominated artist. Her multidisciplinary work spans dance, teaching, mentoring, producing, and community collaboration rooted in care, culture, and collective empowerment.

Through her practice, Danah explores how queer and diasporic bodies hold memory, resilience, and transformation. As an active community leader, she bridges ballroom and contemporary dance spaces—amplifying visibility and honouring the legacy and impact of ballroom within Canada’s dance landscape.

Her recent works include The Grand March of the House of Siriano (Fall for Dance North, 2021) and GIVE ME ONE (Toronto Dance Theatre, 2023), which was nominated for a Dora Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble.
