Banggz is a Nigerian rapper and genre-bender pioneering Afrorap, a dynamic fusion of Afrobeats and Hip-Hop that reflects his journey from Jos to Lagos and beyond. Born in Jos, he and his family relocated to Lagos due to insurgency, a shift that deeply shaped his worldview and artistic identity. The vibrant energy of Lagos became his training ground, immersing him in the city's rich music culture and relentless hustle.

His latest project, 4 THE BANGGERZ, establishes him as a creative force, building a sonic world where fans connect beyond reality. This momentum has earned him nominations for Single of the Year, Video of the Year, and Solo Artist of the Year at the 2025 Capital Music Awards. In 2024, he won the Recognize Award for Music Video of the Year for OUTSIDE, solidifying his place as a standout artist.

Banggz’s rise has been marked by standout performances. His artistry offers listeners a sense of belonging while honoring the sacrifices of his family and reflecting the immigrant experience. His unique sound and storytelling set him apart as a trailblazer in Canada’s evolving hip-hop scene.
