DJ Haram is a multi-disciplinary propagandist in Brooklyn, NY. Stylistically versatile, Haram is known for her eclectic production, antiformat DJing, and layman’s poetics. Her sound is an easily recognizable world of its own, spanning from abrasive analog synthesis to speaker-knocking abstract boom-bap and club music to deteriorated central and west asian musical tradition. She is currently a music resident at Pioneer Works, and has been a resident DJ and host at the Lot Radio with the monthly “Monday Night Raw” since 2021. DJ Haram and Moor Mother together makeup 700 Bliss, releasing Spa 700 (Don Giovanni, 2018) and Nothing to Declare (Hyperdub, 2022). Among a long list of collaborators, DJ Haram has made notable work with Armand Hammer, including We Buy Diabetic Test Strips, ELUCID’s Revelator, and billy wood’s Golliwog. In 2025 DJ Haram released her debut solo album Beside Myself on Hyperdub Records and toured the record into 2026, playing 80 live and hybrid sets across the world. On June 19, Haram produced a full length collaboration with west coast rapper, Sha Ray — Critical Thot on Backwoodz Studioz.
