Eric Quach is a multidisciplinary artist working across music, sound, and visual arts. Over the past 20+ years, he has performed and recorded guitar-based drone and electronic soundscapes under the moniker thisquietarmy, collaborating with projects including Tempête Solaire, Some Became Hollow Tubes, and Destroyalldreamers, as well as with members of Voivod, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Nadja. He has released albums on labels such as Consouling Sounds, Denovali Records, and Alien8 Recordings, and performed at festivals including Mutek, Red Bull Music Academy, and FIMAV.

Quach’s visual practice spans illustration, photography, graphic design, and video, exploring the intersections of image, space, and narrative. He has also led interactive sound installations and workshops, inviting audiences to experiment with sound and technology. A graduate of École Polytechnique de Montréal in mechanical engineering, his artistic practice reflects an unexpected trajectory from engineering into experimental music and interdisciplinary art, blending curiosity, precision, and playfulness across mediums.
