Danah Rosales (she/her/siya/they), known in the ballroom scene as Maldita Siriano 007, is a Tkaronto-based queer, second-generation Canadian-Filipinx artist, solo parent of two, and legendary Women's Performance Motha of the Kiki House of Siriano. A three-time Dora Award-nominated artist, her multidisciplinary practice spans dance, choreography, teaching, coaching, mentoring, consulting, producing, and collaborative performance. Grounded in care, kinship, and community, Danah's work is informed by her lived experiences as a Filipinx daughter, cister, and solo parent. Raising two children while nurturing generations of artists through ballroom, she understands caregiving as both a personal and creative practice that shapes how she leads and creates spaces where people feel seen and celebrated. As Women's Performance Motha, Danah mentors emerging ballroom artists, building chosen family and creating opportunities for queer, trans, and BIPOC artists to thrive in contemporary performance.
