Matt Miwa

Ottawa-Gatineau based artist Matt Miwa has dreamed of a career in Radio ever since Radio Hull and Centre de production DAÏMÔN approached Matt to host a live reporting show from Pique Sept 2024! Sometimes a fever dream, sometimes a dream he can't remember, Matt clutches onto visions of floating through the airwaves, squeezing into your earbuds and then beaming directly into your brain! Matt believes that sound and language are the most powerful forces in art. Just forget literature or painting; don't even bother learning to read or to use the rods and cones photo-receptors in your eyes, it's a waste of time on the pathway to enlightenment through art (unless of course, you will be accessing Matt's content through ASL or LSQ interpretation).
